Dr. Bryn Kanuck
LAc, DAcCHM

A Master of the Healing Arts, Dr. Bryn Kanuck is armed with a wealth of knowledge from the Pacific College of Health and Sciences, and nationally board-certified credentials from the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, TX, Dr. Kanuck weaves a tapestry of Eastern and Western medical traditions.

Her odyssey into the world of medicine isn’t just academic. It’s a journey driven by a deep-rooted passion to integrate the precision of Western Biomedicine with the ancient wisdom of Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, and Herbology. A true polymath, her expertise spans an impressive array of disciplines, from the delicate art of Tuina and Asian Bodywork to the specialized practices of Scalp, NADA, and Auricular Acupuncture.

But Dr. Kanuck’s quest for knowledge didn’t stop there. Her relentless pursuit of holistic wellness led her to the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, where she became a certified Health and Wellness Coach. Complementing this deep knowledge of gut health is her advanced study in Counseling Psychology at Chestnut Hill College, adding yet another layer to her comprehensive understanding of the human psyche and wellness.

Growing up in a family of doctors, Bryn was introduced to the world of natural healing early on. This exposure ignited a lifelong fascination with alternative medicine, propelling her to explore innovative ways to address the root causes of ailments and promote the body’s intrinsic ability to heal itself. Before her immersion into the healing arts, Dr. Kanuck honed her skills in the corporate world as a product manager, sales leader, and business consultant. This experience instilled in her a keen sense of customer experience and discipline, which she now applies in guiding her patients toward health and wellness.

Her philosophy is simple yet profound – meet patients where they are, and accompany them on their journey to balance and health. Outside the clinic, Dr. Kanuck’s life is as vibrant and diverse as her professional pursuits. She finds joy in tennis, hiking, and cherishing moments with her family, proudly sharing that her son is a UT graduate and her daughter has recently graduated from Parsons School of Design in NYC. An ardent animal lover, she extends her nurturing spirit to furry friends, volunteering with Austin Pets Alive to champion the cause of making Austin a no-kill community. Her home is a haven for rescued animals.

Dr. Kanuck’s commitment to service extends to human advocacy as well. Her work with CASA as a court-appointed special advocate reflects her dedication to the welfare of children in the foster care system. Her credentials are a testament to her dedication: Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine Certified Health and Wellness Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition Apex Energetics 360 Detox Training Program Certified Reiki Master Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medical Technology from Wilson College In Dr. Bryn Kanuck, patients find not just a healer, but a compassionate guide committed to their holistic health, blending ancient wisdom with modern practice in a unique melody of wellness.
